Welcome to Nob Hill Riverview Bed and Breakfast. A wonderful place to relax and unwind inside an elegantly appointed, recently restored, turn of the Century Craftsmen home. Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the home was built in 1900 and has been updated with all the modern conveniences. Located in Historical Waterfront St Helens, Oregon with oustanding views of the Columbia River, just 32 miles from downtown Portland and 64 miles from the Coast. The Inn is centrally located for day travel to Astoria and the Oregon Coast, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and the Columbia Gorge.
Every morning guest are invited to our Formal Dining room to the inviting aroma of homemade organic foods being prepared for your breakfast. We go to great lengths to obtain only the finest and freshest ingredients in the Northwest. Aromatic herbs and edible flowers come from our own gardens still damp with morning dew. We are able to cater to any dietary restrictions or allergies if we are aware of them. Guests are asked to please notify the Innkeeper if they have special requests when making a reservation. For the romantic types we offer a very special "Breakfast in Bed Basket" delivered to your room. For any Early Departures we can prepare a box of baked goods and whole fruit to take with you if you are checking out early.
For an extra romantic touch both our suites offer fireplaces and private baths. In the afternoon upon your request we offer Afternoon Tea. We feature a wonderful blend of Earl Grey teas served in vintage china with fresh lemon, sugar cubes, and a silver spoon. You'll feel spoiled all settled into a rocking chair with gingham cushions on the wide front porch over looking the river. No matter what the season and even if the weather is crisp outside, we have vintage wool blankets to cuddle under. When you're ready to come inside, sit in front of a crackling fire. What could be more romantic? Our Inn is steeped in the ambiance of another century and ready to welcome you.
