The Inn sits on one of the highest peaks of the area that was once explored by Lewis and Clark. Now days we are explored and discovered by Hollywood! The latest film being the first "Twilight" Movie! Our Inn sits next to and looks down on the original sets. The real Bella's house is also in walking distance. No other place is as close as we are to the orginal movie sets!

The movie, called “Twilight,” is based on a series of best-selling novels by Stephenie Meyer and is about a teenage girl who moves to the rainy town of Forks, Wash., and meets and falls in love with, of all things, a vampire. However most of the first movie was filmed in our darling town not Forks which is the setting in the book.

On a special note, Thursday evenings in the summer there is live musical entertainment in the waterfront park and an outdoor Farmer's market. There are public docks, boating tie ups, marinas and more. For more adventure there is local golfing, fairgrounds, car racing, guided fishing, biking adventures and kayaking on the Columbia River.
